Found your site through A Little Birdie Told Me So. I saw this chest and 'Wowed' myself practically off my chair! I used to have a painted furniture business; I live it a college town and would dumpster-dive to find solid, wood pieces that I'd fix up and completely transform. I sort of flit around to different mediums and right now I'm throwing in a pottery class. Painted furniture is still my first love, though. Beautiful, beautiful work!

Good Luck, Ruby! This has worked really well for me. Sometimes after the pencil cools, I find I need to bake it a little more to get it to "melt back together". It is indeed one of the most frustrating things ever to see your pencil getting shorter and shorter as you sharpen it and it still keeps breaking. You see all that color you need on your paper going into the belly of the sharpener and your $$$$ dissolving into thin air. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks, Jeanette. I like birds and flowers and keep taking pictures of them, so I decided to do a series of them. This is the first of 12 I have scheduled. I don't have wisteria, but took photos at a friends and grew up with it twined around a mesquite tree in our yard.
